“Newfoundland Turkey Mess? Hawaian burger? This down home comfortable restaurant has all the basics and then some covered. And of course huge pieces of cheesecake, pie, carrot cake, apple crumble, etc. My wife and I had a delicious lunch helped along by the always friendly and hustling staff. “I'm a trucker and was laid over in town for the night and next day. Went here for dinner the first day on a recommendation from the shipper I was picking up at. Great little home cooked menu. Food was great and the staff were amazing. Carla my waitress was awesome. Had the hot roast beef sandwich with fries and gravy. The beef was a nice thick cut on the sandwich and a good size portion. The experience was so pleasant that I was there late enough the next day to go back for dinner again. Once again they did not disappoint. Had the 2 piece fish n chips and was equally delicious as the day before. Karla was my waitress again and aswell did not disappoint. Oh, and they bring you a warmed tea biscuit before your meal. Delicious Overall a great little gem of a restaurant on the main road in town.”

“Excellent option for a great meal! Used reviews to find this place. Was very pleased! Staff were SO friendly! I had a toddler with me and the staff went out of their way to make her experience a positive one. Food was great! Liver and onions with gravy, onions and bacon! Wow! Loved it. There is parking at the front but you can also park along the back as the driveway goes around the building. They also have an amazing ice cream place attached here with a small kids play area located at the back.”
